Why choose softwash roof cleaning?

Softwash is the safest roof cleaning method. High pressure can damage tiles, strip joints and force water beneath the tiles. Softwash uses low pressure and biological products to tackle moss and algae at the root.

How long does my roof stay clean after softwash?

A softwash treatment provides lasting results for an average of 3-5 years, depending on your home’s location. This is considerably longer than traditional pressure washing.

Can all roof types be cleaned?

Yes, softwash suits concrete and clay tiles, slates, corrugated sheets and flat roofs with bituminous roofing. We tailor the treatment to each roof type.

Is softwash roof cleaning environmentally friendly?

Yes, we use biodegradable products that are safe for your garden, plants and the environment. The enzymes break down naturally after use.

Do I need to be home during roof cleaning?

Not necessarily, as long as we can access the roof and water supply. We agree on arrangements in advance and notify you when the work is complete.

Why have your roof cleaned?

Moss and algae on your roof are not just unsightly: they can cause damage. Moss traps moisture, making tiles weather faster and vulnerable to frost. Regular cleaning significantly extends your roof’s lifespan.
